Oil Changes

Going to get a regular oil change for your vehicle is pretty common for most drivers today. With the cost of owning a new Ford or an old Used Ford keeping the oil clean is a must. In north America the average driver gets there oil changed every 2 month some even more then that period.
Often there is the option to get your oil checked while filling up at a full service gas station such as Husky Gas stations, Shell Gas Stations, Petro-Canada and many more. The employee should ask you if you would like your oil changed when filling up the car or truck. Don’t forget your Petro Points if your using Petro-Canada or Airmiles card for those valuable points.
The oil should be checked every time you fill up your vehicle. Some gas stations offer oil labels such as midas, chevron, penzoil but brand names wont make a huge difference in quality as long as the oil gets change.
Some auto sites like www.autoprocanada.com recommend the changes every
2 months. Autoprocanada made contact with some of the larger oil changing companies and most agreed. In the winter oil tends become thicker do to the weather change. This occurs more often in colder areas of North America.
I myself do all my own oil changes my self. The first couple were done before I even owned my first car. Then when I got my first 2000 GMC
I was well prepared. Autoprocanada also has advice on oil changes and you can find coupons for oil companies in Canada.
